In the face of widespread human rights abuses against people involved in sex trade, activists and academics have a key role to play in documenting such violations and publicizing the challenges facing these communities and individuals. Working with other national and local groups, BPPP has had the opportunity to contribute to several important reports submitted to the United Nations on the status of human rights of people engaged in commercial sex. In addition to such reports, fact sheets and short briefings help to educate policy makers, activists, media and others about these sometimes complicated issues. We also work to help develop ideas and strategies for social change and social justice through articles and opinion pieces.
